Sorry the baby hasn’t had much of a presence on here lately. I blame my laziness on summer vacation. Here are bunch of cute pictures in case Grandma in England happens to get on the internet.

A new thing we’re doing all the time is eating our hands and grabbing our feet. There have even been a few times where he got his foot in his mouth. It’s quite the feat.

These were so cute I had to put up two from the same photo session. I don’t remember what I was doing, but he loved it.

In case you’re on summer vacation also and spend your time watching stupid shows that are only on during the summer until the real shows return, then this is for you.

Both FOX and NBC came out with the exact same game show concept the exact same week. It’s a show about trying to remember the words to a song. In case you’re wondering, the FOX show is 100x better than the NBC.

The last week of school is finally here! After ten months of work I am rewarded with something most adults only look back on with fond memories: summer.

Technically I have to work all week, but it’s much easier than that. We only have students for four of those days, and one of those four days I will be at Knott’s Berry Farm. Of those remaining three days, one of them students leave at noon, and another they leave at 1 pm. The only full day that I have to be there we have a two hour awards ceremony. All things considered, I’ve officially started my summer vacation NOW.

I’m looking forward to a lot of things this summer. Andrew and Sarah are getting married, we’re going camping one weekend, on a cruise for a few days, and there are several things I want to do that are hard to get done during the school year. I still have a lot of old family photos to scan and archive, I want to spend a lot of time working on my novel, and the house badly needs to be cleaned from top to bottom!

And I shaved off my beard!

Yesterday and today I had to attend a training for work, smack in the middle of my summer vacation. Luckily it’s over and I can get back to enjoying my last couple weeks.

I turned off the fancy style buttons because it turned out to be a big pain. It made things slower, only some of the buttons would work, and it was screwing with comment submissions. Thanks to everyone who has registered (pretty much all the regulars). I hope to keep an eye out for fun plugins and additions that can make the website more entertaining. I also want to make a blog section where I can put all the additions I’ve made like official comments, etc, and where I found them.

Since the wife finally registered maybe she’ll start posting replies more often. As for a wife blog, I’m not sure. That might be too dangerous. Speaking of the wife, she’s gone this weekend for a girl scout trip, so I’ll be all alone. I’ve got a ton of pictures I want to scan, so I may hunker down and get that done.

Dodgers lost big today, but it doesn’t matter if a loss is by one run or eleven, it only counts as one. Friday Mr. Penny can turn it back on!
