Is It Vacation Yet?

Oh how I pine for the Christmas vacation. Thee are too far away from thy present. Please hurryeth.

Nothing going on really. Rachel gave a shot out for my blog, so I’ll give a shout out for hers. New post up about Presidential election stuff. Suppose I should go over there and make my voice heard!

Kevin has some snippets from his quickly growing library of work. The second post down on his site has a link to his myspace page. Go check out the stories. Some intense stuff!

I’ll go completely random on this post. So far the Dodgers haven’t made any big moves this off season, and I couldn’t be happier. We’ve got some amazing young players, so let them play.

Is it Christmas vacation yet?

Chris has finally joined the blogging community, and the last myspace link can be removed from my page!

Also, I’ve started putting recently undead people at the bottom of my friends list, so other than family at the top, eventually the list should be an indicator of who has been alive the longest. Go visit Chris at the Lunaverse!

Blarg Radio

I would say that I was bored this afternoon, but that’s not really true. I actually had a lot of things I should have been doing, but instead I was playing around with adding music to the blarg. Now I know what you’re thinking…"oh stupid music that starts playing when I go to your website and I have to search fo the dumb thing so I can turn it off!" That might be how it works on whorespace, err, myspace, but I think you’ll like this system.

Over on the right is a small button which will expand when you move the mouse over it. Internet Explorer users need to click on it first and then it will start working. What this button will let me do is post music for people to listen to. If you want to listen, you can. If you don’t want to listen, you don’t have to. If you don’t, it should sit over there and stay out of your way.

Currently you’ll find three songs by three bands you’ve probably never heard of. Two of them I scoured the entire internet (that’s right, the whole thing) to find. The third one, by Rehasher, is a side band of the lead singer from Less Than Jake, at least one of them anyways. In the future, if I come across new songs I find interesting, I will now have the ability to post them for your listening pleasure.

Which Do You Believe In?

Which of the following do you believe is the best way to attain peace and why? I encourage people on all sides of the political divide (left and right) and also the blogging divide (blogs and myspace) to chime in. I will provide brief explanations, but feel free to expound.

1) Peace through Strength – Peace cannot be held by pacifism, but through a strong military that is capable of enforcing peace.

2) Strength through Peace – Military action does not facilitate peace, but merely leads to more violence and destruction.

Finally I Pissed Someone Off!

Someone got mad at me for my post about affirmative action and UCLA. They posted it on their myspace. Feel free to give them a beatdown if you’d like, I already started.

Summer is almost over and I’m bored. I’ve finally decided to use my college degree and start marketing my website on Myspace. What better way to do this than tap into all the loser stereotypes you find on Myspace. Here is an example of my ads you will start seeing on Myspace.

The Blarg

Not only is it true, but it’s very clever. People will read this and think "who is this Blarg?" or maybe they’re a loser that wears big sunglasses and gets impregnated by men with trucker hats and they will think "hey, that’s me!"

Annoying Loser People

Since I just posted an annoying loser person on my blog, I decided it would be a good time to follow up. There are two specific types of people that drive me utterly insane with their loserness and idiocy.

Girls with sunglasses so big they take up their whole face

Mostly seen at CSULB my last semester and also on myspace, these girls annoy me beyond words. Much like the girl in the post below, all those sunglasses tell me is that you are much more likely to be whorish than most girls. You’re also more likely to get drunk at random parties, hook up with loser guys, and you probably want to go into liberal studies or nursing (let’s see how many people I can offend in one post!).

In case you do wear these kind of sunglasses, let me clarify that there are other qualifications beyond the sunglasses. They are in no specific order: bleached blonde hair, wife beaters, smoking, working at hooters, thinking you’re on The O.C., bragging about the numerous children you’ve fathered to guys with trucker hats, and you probably will never actually finish college and get a real job because you’re too busy thinking you’re a porn star.

I wish I had this intuition back in High School.

Gangsters with shaved heads that all wear white shirts to their knees and roam like a pack of wolves

There is a reason you don’t see successful people in life doing the above: it makes you an idiot gangster by default. Stop bumping your crappy music in your obviously leased Escalade and do something with your life. Instead of walking around like you’re about to rob a liquor store, get a job and learn how to dress! At least get clothes that fit, and buy a comb and get a hairstyle. Even worse than this is the gangster that doesn’t know how to use a condom and becomes tied down by a kid. Faced with this obvious life change and responsibility, do you lose the gangster look and attitude? Of course not, you just go along being an idiot gangster setting a horrible example for your children to follow in your footsteps.

You’ve been epitomized in gangster movies and rap music for so long now, aren’t you tired of it? I am.

**If you belong to either of the two groups, please respond and tell me why you make the decisions that you do.**
