May Day Crazies

I recorded news broadcasts all day long to see if there was anything interesting. Overall it’s been pretty boring. Here are a few fun pictures.

Stop the Riads
I have no problem with stopping riads.

Illegal Alien
This guy takes the label “illegal alien” to heart.

Viva Mexico
“Viva Mexico!” this man said, followed shortly by “I’m a freaking idiot!”

Happy May Day!

Looks like we have something to celebrate. Illegal immigrants are being deported at an increasing rate, which is very good news. In case you don’t read the article, this is my favorite line. An illegal alien mother is talking about her anchor baby son.

“He needs to be educated in American schools, to speak English. He needs this country.”

My response: This country doesn’t need him. Am I cold hearted? Is that unchristian? Should anyone be able to come here, regardless of the laws they break? I’m sure you know my answers, but I would love to hear yours.

May Day!

Today is the supposedly big anti-America day being driven by people that aren’t even citizens. Some of my kids were echoing the anti-America propaganda they hear at home. It’s really very sad to hear near racist comments coming out of a 7th graders mouth.

This morning I queued up all the news shows during the day (and especially channel 7 Eyewitness News in HD). It sounds like the major protests aren’t supposed to start until the afternoon, so I plan on doing a little watching and I will give my comments on them later.
