I posted daily during the roadtrip, but you never got to see any pictures! We’ve ordered them and made an album, but in case you don’t come over to look at it, here are a few of my favorites.

This is somewhere near the Idaho/Wyoming border heading to the Grand Tetons. Beautiful hills covered in wheat!

This is at one of the lakes in the Grand Teton National Park.

This is at the West Thumb in Yellowstone, one of the many hot springs. I love the colors.

So I don’t break the frontpage of the Blarg, you have to click the link after this to see the rest.

The obligatory Old Faithful picture.

This picture was posted at every hot spring site. I love how the kid is plugging the geyser hole, but even better, look at the girl to the left. Her shock is hilarious.

Took this on a little “off roading” trip in Yellowstone. The dirt road took your through some real isolated parts of the park.

Doesn’t this look like it belongs in the 7 wonders of the world or whatever? It’s the John Day Fossil Beds. I’d never heard of them, but they were awesome.

Crater Lake in Souther Oregon. Very pretty.

The Golden Gate bridge!

And now for the animal pictures!

Moose!

Deer!

Bison!

Overall it was some of the most beautiful country I’ve ever seen.

Were are in the beach town of Fort Bragg tonight, a little ways north of San Francisco. Tonight we met up with Stacie’s parents who are driving the opposite direction as us to go to a wedding in Eureka. We ate dinner with them tonight and I got to sample a few different beers at the Northcoast Brewery here in Mendocino County.

Today’s drive was on Highway 1 right alone the ocean. It was a really pretty view, but very slow going and windy roads. Tomorrow we’re heading down through San Francisco, going to take a look at the Golden Gate bridge, and then on to a city called Morgan Hill. Stacie has family there, so we’ll visit with them tomorrow night.
