Tonight a lot of family and friends came over for a BBQ, and good times were had by all. My whole family was there, significant others were there, and Stacie’s parents came too. We even had friends and their significant others. And of course the dog was there to bug everyone and beg for food.

On a side note, today I went to Home Depot and All American to research materials for the arcade cabinet. Didn’t find exactly what I need, but I think Lowe’s has it. And Kurtis’ dad is going to let me borrow some power tools, so there’s a bunch of money saved already! I’ll keep you posted.

I’ve either gone crazy…or I’m feeling super ambitious. You can decide. Using my computer skills and my brother’s budding woodworking skills, I think we can make something like this:

They have kits you can buy if you’re willing to shell out $1000…or you can make the whole thing from scratch. It’ll run you about $400 and a lot of time. It should prove to be a long and slow learning process, but I think it will be fun at the same time.

And heck, even if I hate doing it, I’m sure you guys will come over for some 4 player X-Men or Sunset Riders. Hahaha.
