Still Alive…

Haven’t posted in months. Been busy with the new baby…but overall don’t have as much of an urge to “speak to the world” anymore. I’d rather use Google+ where I can be private and share with the people I really want to share with.

Would hate to see the blarg go the way of the dodo…but I wouldn’t miss it near as much as I would have five years ago.

Just kind of funny how things evolve. I was never much of a blogger and my blog has ended up as a dumping ground for my WordPress plugins and reviews with affiliate links. The one thing that has me excited on my new blog is that it is focused on a single topic. There’s no question if readers would be interested in my posts because they know exactly what to expect from the site. If a site goes off topic too much then I find I unsubscribe from it or lose interest.

Yeah…this was mostly a “what’s going on in my life” blog, never that specific…but now I’d rather share with people on Google+…which makes this site a little useless. And in general, I just don’t care about “sharing” with people as much as I used to.

If anything, I probably enjoyed covering politics more than anything, but even that I’ve grown out of. Well, I still love politics and reading about it, but I’m tired of arguing about it with stupid people. Presenting great arguments only to be called names…what’s the point? I can’t change people who are so selfish they think it’s OK to take money from others by force and give it to whomever they choose. Not worth my energy anymore.

So who knows what I’ll do with this.
