Luke is Back
December 7th, 2008Not much going on. Only two more weeks until Christmas break!
Sadly, at the age of 27, I received my first filling on Friday. For years I have been proud of my cavity free mouth, but last week one of my wisdom teeth was the victim of evil tooth decay. The cool part is that a guy I played volleyball with in High School did the filling. Crazy! Anyone else beat 27 years without a cavity? My sister said that third molars (wisdom teeth) don’t even count though, which I’m fine with.
I’m already tired of Little Big Planet. Once you beat the game, it’s just a lot jumping…and no matter how cool the level…it’s still just a lot of jumping. I put it on Ebay, and I bought Wipeout HD for only $20!
Stacie just told me to turn off the computer and go to bed, and I said “The Department of Defense is under attack by a foregin terrorist and I have to stop it.” She said that’s not my job.
She also pointed out that I promised baby pictures in this post. In a week he’ll be nine months old.

We do patty cake now, and as Uncle Paul points out, that’s all. We don’t roll anything or mark it with a B yet.
We also hold our own bottle if mom or dad won’t do it for him. If you let go and let it just sit there, then he’ll grab it. But if you hold it at all, he’s more than happy to let you do all the work.
We let cute little Romanian girls grab our ears and then we make weird faces.
On Thanksgiving we were thankful to be able to spend it with our Great-Grandpa. This is my favorite picture of the two of them.
I just had my first filling last year so I went 24 years. It was just a little surface decay so I didn’t get drilled much and now I can’t even tell which tooth has the filling.
And if anyone thinks there aren’t enough Luke pictures being posted I’ll throw in one my shots just to be sure.
Oh my gosh! Luke could make big bucks as a baby model. Andrew’s black and white is fantastic! Your pics are all great, too Nathan. I saw your dentist today and he didn’t mention your visit to the office. Hippa, you know.
I don’t have any fillings at 34. Of course I did have a cavity in a wisdom tooth at 26, but instead of filling it, the Air Force yanked it, along with ALL my wisdom teeth, even though they were not a problem. I think it was tooth-yanking training day at the Air Force dental school.
Whoa whoa whoa…I thought Charlotte was the only cute little Romanian in Luke’s life (well not really since they’ve never met!–but in his cyber life I guess…)
As for 27 years without a filling?–Oh brother—us Romanians know quite a bit about fillings —so all I can say is– congrats to 27 years without one.

Great photos. So WOW 9 months! Are you blown away by that? Next week we hit 5 months and it’s just all very hard to process.
TEETH: I’ve had a bunch of fillings, 4 wisdom teeth and one molar pulled and a root canal, so I’ve had my fair share of bad teeth problem, genetics anyone?
I’m sorry you burned out on LBP. I’m still slowly making my way through the game, but as you may have noticed I don’t play games all that often so I’ve not tired of it yet.
Omigosh, I ate up this whole post with cream and sugar poured on it (or something lunatic like that reflecting how cute my nephew is).

@Padfoot – Didn’t you see the part about Wipeout HD? haha. Besides, if I play PS3 games I can earn trophies…and sit and relax on the couch.
@Angelo – I dunno if I’m blown away…it’s like each new change is cool…but I guess none of it compares to when he first came home. He’s starting to crawl the entire length of the house though, so who knows what the next couple months will be like!
@Denise – You should not eat your monitor, I don’t care how much sugar is on it.

The minute you said, Nicole Dubei, I knew exactly why that little sweet baby looked so familar! I always laugh when someone says they know a “Romanian” because my next question is always “What is this Romanian’s name?” assuming I must know every Romanian in California.
