Is anyone else having serious static electricity problems right now? The air has been really dry lately, and from what we’ve read when the air is dry static electricity gets worse. It seems like everytime we touch the lightswitch we get a big huge shock! The blanket on the couch crinkles with static everytime it moves. It’s to the point where I walk around touching things to try and ground myself before I touch anything metal. Having shoes on makes it a lot worse, I guess because the rubber soles insulate me and help me store up electricity. Can’t talk, taking my shoes off.
