I think my blood pressure just shot up 50 points. And it’s these folks that will procreate and those children will end up in my classroom one day… and those children will miss several days of school to also participate in these same protests (3 of my students last year did this) . The cycle never ends. But wait, WE”RE wrong for being a little upset and concerned. We are a bunch of racist racist racist white folk. Shame on us.

it’s going to happen in our lifetime… a large group of “Mexicans” is going to overtake and claim some small town and claim it is the beginning of a revolution.

Sounds far-fetched. Or does it? Consider what it would take to defer them from this idea. Common sense and logical progression of thought on their part.

Agreed Kevin. Maybe they’ll start with Bell Gardens. I almost want something like that to happen, because nothing short of that will get people or politicians to act and protect the border.

all i have to say is, if any minority people group ever tried to claim downey for their revolutionary beginning…i’m going over to the burkhardt’s house. they have a lot of guns, and no problem shooting them at people who are a threat.

I couldn’t even watch the whole thing I was getting too mad. I’m so glad I’m moving up to WA. I need to get the heck out of dodge. I know they’ll eventually get up there too, it’s only a matter of time but until then I will enjoy the 30% minority population. I don’t mind other races just as long as they respect the USA and not try to turn it into another country. Can you guess what country that is?

Western Washington has it’s problems too… Seattle is a port city… though it’s still in good shape and probably will never get as bad as it is down here (too far *norte* to travel)… plus you can always run north to Canada, EH?.

I don’t think *they* will take over much in the northwest because it’s either too cold/snowy and/or too rainy for *them*

On a side note, I originally moved away from CA in 1995… returned in mid-1997. The *problems* we had then in Downey were contained mostly on the skirts/borders of Downey and the only difference now is the *problems* have moved towards the center and have totally embedded into the city.

Attitudes and Ideas of the people who want to *take over* haven’t changed much since the Rodney King riots… it’s just NOW there are more of the others (who are now a HUGE minority) are finally beginning to pay attention.

IMHO, Southern California has been broken for over 15 years and is now (past 2 – 3 years) finally past the *fixing* point. So if they want to take over and claim a revolution, I say go for it… then we’ll watch the flood of people and business leaving the state and then all the *great* economic changes that will follow… in 20 years this place will become as trashy as Northern Mexico and I’ll say…
