Any true American who watches the above, free video will recognize the fact that Bush committed 9/11 the same as his grandfather’s client, Adolf Hitler(Google “Prescott Thyssen Auschwitz”), committed the Reichstag Fire.

Inarguably, Bush is Hitler-redux.

Schoolteacher Jay Bennish is simply putting forward thoughts that any who claim spiritual descent from the Jeffersonian Whig Founders of the United States of America should have been realizing right after they heard GHW Bush’s public statement confirming his “inability” to recall his whereabouts upon hearing of President Kennedy’s assassination: W’s only “qualification” for office.

My biggest problem with 9-11 is that people just believe what the main stream media tells them and refuse to do ANY research of their own. I have a crisp shiny dollar bill for anyone who can tell me why WTC 7 collapsed. Most people don’t even know a third building collapsed that day! Ok I could write for an hour and I don’t want to take up space on Nathans blog..so I’ll stop. Anyway read for yourself and decide.

and another thing Will… I challenge you to name one government that is better than that of the USA.

Then I will gladly give up a weekend to help you pack and ship off to the country of your choice.

WOW!!,Who do you get your info from? Did you, Bigfoot, Michael Moore, and the Aliens get togther to make this stuff up? Does believeing in that sound better than the fact that people just don’t like us and our way of life. To say that George W. let 9/11 happen like the Nazis burnt down the Riechstag, is implying that he had something to do with planning it. (obsurd) Stop regurgitating other people’s theories, and check your history.

Back to the issue of the teacher, the problem isn’t in what his ideas are, or how crazy they sound to some. The problem his he is abusing his right to free speech by forcing students who can’t just get up and leave to listen to his rants thus violating the school district’s policy of presenting BALANCED arguments within the CONTEXT of the lesson (I believe he teaches Geography).

I think the most important thing about this story is being overlooked. The fact that there are many free thinking students with minds of their own and opinions of their own out there that are tired of teachers abusing thier positions, and are willing to do something about it.

Even in a college setting this sort of thing is annoying. I didn’t really begin to feel comfortable in my values and beliefs until after my bachelors degree. I’ve been very willing to call my professors out in post-grad stuff, but my undergrad I was still learning.

The kid in this tape is definitly beyond his peers. A few times you can hear fellow students pipe up with conspiracy language: “But how do you KNOW Bush didn’t do it?” The kid says that when Israel responds to a suicide bombing they target the perpetrators and not innocent civilians, to which a classmate says “Well how do you KNOW they don’t?”

I just don’t like it when professors babble about their own personal views.

I had a professor in my under-grad invite in a guest speaker (this is on a cal state campus being subsidized by taxpayers). The guest speaker spent 30 mins explaining why higher education should be completely government funded to anyone that wants it. There was no opposing viewpoint given at all, but just this one person’s opinion. Luckily I knew it didn’t sound right, and myself and a couple people spoke up about that.

So yes, good discussion is one thing, but one-sided indoctrination is another.

Allow me to include comment number 13, a propitious number, I think.

First, commitment to conspiracy theories and conspiratorial thinking says a great deal more about the mind and makeup of the thinker than it does about the way reality actually works. Conspiracies provide us an opportunity to protect ourselves from scary realities. It’s scary to think one man with a gun could manage to kill President Kennedy. L.H. Oswald was a pretty average guy, and most of us are pretty average guys/gals as well. Scary to think we each hold the potential to become killers. Scary to think our trusted leaders are at risk of harm and death. Better to concoct a convoluted theory about the CIA and the man on the grassy knoll, because we’re more okay once we believe that government entities (rather than individuals) are responsible for evil and once we believe that the accomplishing of evil requires great organization and collusion. In reality, one or a very few people (even if they live in caves) can do a world of harm, which is scary as hell to any normal person. Perhaps it feels a little less scary to think that our government colluded with the terrorists. The downside is we’ve now got to doubt our political leaders’ trustworthiness, but some of us would have done so anyway and now there’s the added benefit of feeling immune from the lowly powers of relatively small bands of islamo-fascist terrorists. In reality, the typical conspiracy theory is improbable to the point of impossibility, but still less scary than the truth.

Second, Bush didn’t know about 9/11. I request any who make an inflammatory statement to the contrary to support such claims with evidence. Good evidence. Not Michael Moore.

Third, the last thing I as an American taxpayer will allow my tax dollars to be put toward is the political indoctrination of my children. School is for teaching kids critical thought, not brainwashed thought. A good teacher helps students think through issues by ensuring both sides are well presented, and by never allowing his or her agenda/bias to show through. Any teacher who fails to do this is a moral and political coward who feels justified in indoctrinating children despite the limits inherent in young minds and without respect to the child’s preferences or the value system of the child’s family. If Sean Allen were my son, he’d be out of that class and school faster than you can say, “Wacko Pacifist.” I heard on Larry Elder that several other schools have offered to allow Sean to enroll with them. I’ve gotta find out where these places are, cuz someday I’ll have kids, and I don’t want to spend all my time yelling at Liberal wacko teachers at my local public school. Or maybe I do.
