Genghis Khan Is Dead

So I found this picture on Foxnews, and realized it was the perfect subject of my second "That Doesn’t Make Sense" column.

So I don’t know what’s going on here, but I think it’s pretty clear: George Bush is hanging out with some guy who thinks he’s Genghis Khan. First of all, the guy playing Genghis Khan is clearly Russian, not Philipino. Second, the guy on the right is waving the Romanian flag, and he’s wearing different colors than Genghis Khan. If they’re supposed to be mortal enemies, they don’t look like they’re in perpetual violence fighting for the survival of their tribe. Third, the girl to the left is wearing a metal bra.

Now for George Bush, he’s clearly trying to barter with Genghis. He is saying "If you let me join your dojo, do I get a cool horse like that? In turn I will trade you this schmuck behind me that can’t stop smiling about the metal bra joke." The guy playing Genghis Khan can’t stop laughing and he keeps muttering something about meeting James Bond. I think they are going to jump President Bush into their gang now.

The coolest thing about the horse is that it definitely weighs less than the faux-Khan riding it. More like a really fast puppy.

hey, i like the naming of the 4th meal “blarg.” i’m all for it. but here’s the problem that i have with the whole not sleeping thing…i like sleeping. a lot. and also, something about genghis kahn.

Oh good point amy! What I think would happen is that sleeping would become a luxury, like the movies. Only rich people would be able to afford to sleep, but poor people would have to work all the time. But then poor people would have to pay for the drugs to keep them up all the time, making them even poorer! Hmmm, a catch-22!

Hey You Motherfuckers listen and read it carefully!!!
That’s not Genghis Khan first of all. During George W. Bush visit to Mongolia Nov 2005, we, mongolians showed him our early army style with horse and mongolian soldiers. The flag is not even fucking Romanian’s!!! That’s the flag of Genghis khan used. You fuckers have a totally wrong understanding of Mongolian horses!!! These mongolian horses have traveled and conquered half of the world with Genghis Khan’s army and nowadays they are still strong as they run for 30 kms ride for the Mongolian National Holiday.

Well, I’m glad our friend cleared up the fact that this is not Genghis Khan. And his English is wonderful. Get him a beer and some chew, put him on a porch in Alabama and you would never guess he was Mongolian.

Glad to see the Blarg has an international following. You’re right up there with the Danish Papers.

Seriously, mix it up a little bit. Throw in a ‘jackass’ or a ‘shithead.’

And finally, how do we know that isn’t the original Genghis Khan? When Bill and Ted transported him into the future in their time-traveling telephone booth, they provided him the perfect opportunity to ride a horse in George Bush’s presence. And what kind of bad-ass mother-F’er are you if you haven’t conquered the future?

I agree with Denise. It was a decent comment. I liked the part that said, “thank you for your time, etc.” but I would have liked to see a little more creativity. My personal favorite insult is the simple, tasteless “douche bag.” Keep at it, genggis.
