Democrats: Dishonest on Iraq

While I know it’s easier to just dismiss all critical discussion completely, I think looking at the facts is much more telling.

Ted Kennedy, Sept 2002: “There is no doubt that Saddam Hussein’s regime is a serious danger, that he is a tyrant, and that his pursuit of lethal weapons of mass destruction cannot be tolerated. He must be disarmed.”

Ted Kennedy, Sept 2003: “There was no imminent threat. This was made up in Texas, announced in January to the Republican leadership that war was going to take place and was going to be good politically. This whole thing was a fraud.”

But since all politicians are liars, Ted Kennedy and the President are pretty much the same, right Mike?

I agree we need to be aware of biases, but the GOP video uses actual video clips of what high profile democrats said prior to the war, which is why it’s so effective.
