I remember having these types of popsicles at the homes of, well, hispanic friends. Instead of coming in flattish plastic tubes, as does the traditional otter pop, these other popsicles came in long, round plastic tubes. They were pinched in at the middle (giving them their chromosome like shape-single chromosome, not a pair), which allowed you to break the tube in half, and eat it. The were huge, only came in like 3 colors and were definitely the ghetto version of the much-loved, greatly to be preferred otter pop. Ok, I’ll clarify.
