More Gmail Invites and Etc.

Yes yes! I have 6 more Gmail invitations. If you would like a Gmail email, send me an email!

Now I would like to address two topic “requests.”

MAC Cosmetic’s new spring colors: I think they’re great. But it’s not Spring. What are we supposed to do with them…pretend? My pretty lime green eye shadow doesn’t go with my Christmas outfit!

America’s love affair with knitted ponchos: I believe this is a complete fabrication. The guys that sell the ponchos at the US/Mexican border have completed flooded the market. No one really wears them, but when you’re stuck in traffic for 2 hours you have nothing else to do but buy one. No one even wants one, they just want to see if they can get it cheaper than their friend did. haha :D

So the ACLU has decided that there are SO many inappropriate pat downs at our local airports, they need an online complaint form. I find this very amusing. What’s even more amusing, is I think that we should all take time out of our schedule to submit fake claims. If the ACLU has nothing better to do, let’s give them some fun complaints. For example, one question is this….

Please describe how you were chosen for extra screening (if you know).

My Answer: Because I was whitey!

You get the idea. Go, enjoy, and be creative!!

Dodgers Do What’s Right

Thankfully, whether it was DePodesta’s choice or not, the Dodgers pulled the plug on a huge 10-player deal. There’s an article over at the LA Times sight with some good commentary.

I’ve always been a big Michael Jordan fan. That’s probably because he was in his prime while I was growing up, and when you’re a kid you magnify how great people are. Anyhow, I thought this article was really interesting. Kobe doesn’t understand the off court game near as well as Jordan did.

The Terminal

If you’ve seen The Royal Tenenbaums then you know that Pagoda was the funniest part of the whole movie. Tonight I watched The Terminal, and to my surprise, Pagoda was in it! He plays a funny little maintenance man at the airport. The scene below had me rolling, it was so hilarious. If you haven’t seen it, you should, just to see the man below. His name is Kumar Pallana.

Christmas Break is Here

I am glad to know that for the next two weeks I don’t have to anything of extreme significance. I hope to veg, eat a lot, watch a lot of movies, and play a lot of WoW. This is my last Christmas here. :)

As for this weekend, I’ve got the house to myself! All of my other family members are off to my Grandma’s house, but Stacie and I couldn’t make it. That means the arcade is going to be on 24/7 baby! haha. :D

Last Day of School

My first semester of the Credential Program is finally coming to a close. I should be getting A’s or B’s in all of my classes, so that’s a relief. I’m very much looking forward to a few weeks off, and then it’s back to the grind. Luckily CSULB doesn’t start again until the end of January. Off to turn in a take home final and be done with it all! :)

Stupid ACLU

I would say the ACLU is rearing it’s anti-christian head again, but this issue is really much broader. A Pennsylvania school district wants to teach intelligent design in addition to evolution, but the ACLU is up in arms. Intelligent design is basically every argument against evolution and how it couldn’t have worked the way evolutionists say. The world as we know it is so complex and balanced that the chances for evolution to get it all right are slim to none. Regardless, the ACLU deems this teaching too close to religious teachings. In fact the end of the article says it’s the “secular form of creationism.” The ACLU needs to get a clue. People want this taught, it’s a VERY viable alternative, and to fight it shows what a leftist organization they are.
